Charity and Third Sector Restructuring and Insolvency Advisors
We offer the UK’s only service dedicated to helping Third Sector Organisations (charities, not-for-profit, voluntary and community associations, social enterprises, co-operatives, housing associations, members/social clubs, friendly societies) in financial difficulty.
Our Third Sector insolvency service has been created by specialists at Lucas Johnson who have experience in dealing with charities, not-for-profit organisations, voluntary and community associations, social enterprises, co-operatives, housing associations, members/social clubs, friendly societies) facing insolvency.
Lucas Johnson’s Insolvency Practitioners were responsible for the first ever rescue of a national charity with a defined benefit pension scheme deficit, through use of a Company Voluntary Arrangement. We have traded a number of Third Sector Organisations through the Administration process before finding other organisations to take over their work. We have worked with many charity and not-for-profit organisations from all parts of the country to minimise the impact of financial difficulties on the organisation's staff, trustees/directors, creditors and those who make use of the invaluable service being provided.
Every Third Sector Organisation is founded and run by people who are passionate about supporting others. We aim to give every organisation who requests our advice a service tailored for their scenario to help them best cope with or recover from their financial difficulty.
This website provides assistance with liquidations for charities/not-for-profits/voluntary associations/etc, winding up a charity/members club/etc, turnaround, rescue and recovery or any insolvent situations.
For more specific information or to speak to an advisor about your situation, please contact us. We are happy to work with Third Sector organisations of any size.
